Due to the continued expansion and success of our Kitchen and Room Interiors showroom in Tring, Hertfordshire, we are currently looking for a SHOWROOM ASSISTANT to assist with our continued growth. The ideal candidate should be well presented, confident, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to develop a good rapport with clients and fellow colleagues alike. The ability to work independently and without supervision will be a key attribute for this role.
The remuneration package will be dependent on previous skills and therefore discussed at interview.
HOURS: Monday to Friday – 9 am to 4pm plus Saturday – two in every three weeks – 10am to 2pm
START: Monday 10th April 2017
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Education, Training and Qualifications
Good grounding in both English and Maths as well as a reasonable understanding of all aspects of the Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel. Some CAD software experience would also be ideal, but not essential. Any formal qualifications would be a benefit.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Experience
A Retail Showroom background would be preferable, but not essential, as full training and support will be given. This position would ideally suit someone who has had a previous Kitchen and Room Interior showroom background but now looking to develop their skills into full design solutions over time.
Personal Attributes and Characteristics
An interest in interior design would be useful but a strong work ethic and customer focused communication skills will be vital.
