OUR HISTORY

The reasons for why we are Neil’s Kitchens …. a very personal message from our senior partner

“I do hope that you are enjoying looking around our superb and brand new website and have managed to find something that ‘tickles the taste buds’. There is plenty there, with some very unique and comprehensive solutions. My team will be extremely happy to discuss all areas of our business with you and design a solution that really works.

However, many people have asked me over the years why we are called Neil’s Kitchens.

Having always been a family business, my son Neil and myself had been crafting superb, quality kitchens for over 20 years. Known for our outstanding quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail, we had built up an unrivalled reputation throughout Herts, Beds, Bucks and Northants as the premier team for all things related to kitchens, bedrooms, studies and living space solutions, dealing with many high profile film, television and sports stars.

During 2007, Neil and myself began planning our expansion of the business with the addition of our fantastic showroom in Tring, Hertfordshire with the sole intention of being able to bring our expertise to a much wider and more dynamic audience.

With our new showroom location identified in the very historic Marash House, one of the oldest properties in the stunning and beautiful market town of Tring, we began to develop the property into what it is today.

Sadly however, on the eve of the grand opening of this new showroom, Neil was shockingly ‘cut down in his prime’ by a mindless act of extreme violence by others and, sadly passed away a few days later from his terrible and critical injuries received.

The sudden and tragic loss of Neil in August 2007, whilst shocking and deeply distressing for all my family and one which we truly will never get over, did give us a sense of renewed energy to refocus and develop the vision that Neil had for the strategic development of our family business. This has remained a lasting and fitting tribute to his memory and one which Neil would be truly proud.

To great fanfare and support from the local community of Tring, Neil’s Kitchens opened our doors in December 2007. Our fantastic showroom, in a stunning setting, marked a new era for us all and has continued to grow from strength to strength.

We are a true family business, that takes a very ‘hands on’ approach to all aspects of your new room solution and we continue to delivery our ethos and craftsmanship with full integrity, a lesson that Neil taught us all during his precious, short life.

My wife Sheila, my other son Ian, myself plus the whole team very much look forward to welcoming you to Neil’s Kitchens, either in our Tring showroom or in your home, and allowing us to demonstrate just how that personal touch, with impartial advice, will deliver a quality product for your new kitchen, bedroom, study or living space.
